TumTumMagic Lab Solutions

For parents & caregivers

Privacy policy

Updated September 9, 2026

TumTum is made for children to explore with a parent or caregiver. Magic Lab Solutions provides the app. This policy explains the information used by the app, these TumTum pages and our support email.

A toy room that works offline

The toys, illustrations, sounds and voices are included in the app. Playing does not require an account or an internet connection. The current app has no ads, advertising identifiers, third-party analytics SDKs or in-game purchases. It does not send children's profiles or play activity to Magic Lab Solutions.

What stays on your device

During setup, a grown-up enters a child's name, birth month and birth year. A nickname is fine. The app uses these details to greet the child and choose age-appropriate starting toys. It also saves the caregiver role chosen during setup, the active profile, play language, sound and movement preferences, break reminders, hidden toys, selected app icon and local playroom state. These are stored locally in the app's data on your device; there is no TumTum account or cloud-sync service.

Motion, sounds and permissions

When enabled, movement sensors let the blocks respond to tilting or shaking the device. This motion is used locally to animate play, not uploaded or used for tracking. You can turn these features off in the parent settings. TumTum plays included audio; it does not record voices or ask for access to the microphone, camera, contacts or precise location.

Your choices and local data

You can edit children's names and ages, choose the active profile, and change preferences in the parent settings. Deleting the app removes its local app data; offloading the app may keep that data. Device backups can contain app data according to your Apple settings. We cannot access, retrieve or remotely erase a profile stored only on your device. Your backup provider's controls and policies apply to backup copies.

When you contact us

Contact us opens your email app only when you choose it. No child profile or diagnostic file is attached automatically. If you send an email, we receive your address and the content you include. We use that information to reply and resolve the request, and keep correspondence only as needed for support and applicable obligations. Our email provider processes messages to deliver this service. Please avoid sending children's personal details. You can ask us to access, correct or delete information in support correspondence.

These web pages and Apple services

Privacy and terms links are in the parent area and open this website only when selected. These TumTum legal pages contain no advertising tags, analytics scripts, forms or cookies set by us. Our hosting provider, GitHub Pages, receives technical request information such as an IP address when a page is loaded. Its privacy statement applies to that hosting. Other Magic Lab Solutions pages may use different website services. Apple separately operates the App Store, device backups and optional diagnostics under its own policies.

Children's privacy and questions

The child experience has no chat, public profiles or data-submission forms. Adults manage setup and settings. If you believe a child has sent personal information to our support address, contact us so we can address it. For privacy questions or requests about information we receive, email contact@magiclabsolutions.com. Your rights under applicable data-protection law remain available, including the right to raise a concern with the relevant authority.

Changes

If the app's data practices change, we will update this page and its date and provide any notice or choices required for the change. This policy describes the current version; it does not authorize future collection of children's data.
