What Zuzu is

Zuzu is a baby and pregnancy tracker for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Android. You log sleep, feeds, diapers, growth and health in a few taps, and Zuzu learns your baby's rhythm to predict the next nap. Everyone you invite to your family sees the same diary, on their own phone.

Answers

Common questions

How do I share Zuzu with my partner or a caregiver?

Tap the gear at the top of My Baby to open Settings, then Family & Account. Choose Invite by Email or Share Invite Link, and pick Parent (full access) or Caregiver (limited access): a parent can add babies and invite others, a caregiver logs and follows the diary. Inviting is part of Premium, and everyone who joins shares the family’s plan.

The other person installs Zuzu, then taps the link or enters the code in Settings → Family & Account → Enter Invite Code. Invites expire after seven days, and one sent by email only works for that email address. If they had already started their own diary, Zuzu asks them to Switch Family — and if they were its only parent, that diary is deleted, so it’s best to join before logging anything.

What does Premium include, and how do I get it back on a new phone?

The free plan tracks one baby, shows the last seven days of history and has a daily limit on entries. Premium adds smart sleep predictions, full history and trends, unlimited logging and AI insights, premium sounds, widgets and Apple Watch, more babies and family sharing. Get it from Settings → Upgrade to Premium; prices show in your own currency before you buy.

On a new phone, sign in with the same account as before — Apple, Google or email — and your diary and Premium come back. If Premium still looks locked, open Settings → Upgrade to Premium and tap Restore Purchase at the bottom of the plans screen.

Reminders aren't arriving. What should I check?

Open Settings → App preferences → Notifications and make sure Enable Notifications is on, then turn on the reminders you want, such as Nap Reminders, Feeding Reminders and Bedtime Reminders.

If Zuzu says notifications are disabled in system settings, the iPhone itself is blocking them. Settings → App preferences → App Preferences opens Zuzu’s page in the iPhone Settings app, where you can allow notifications.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. In Zuzu, open Settings → Family & Account, tap the Zuzu Premium card and then Manage Subscription; or go to the iPhone Settings app → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app or your account doesn’t cancel it.

Only the person who subscribed can cancel: everyone else in the family sees Managed by and that person’s name. On Android, subscriptions are managed in Google Play.

Where is my baby's diary kept, and can I export it?

On Zuzu’s servers on Google Cloud, so it’s on every phone in your family and comes back when you sign in on a new one. It’s shared only with the people in your family. Without a connection you can keep logging: entries wait on your phone and sync as soon as you’re back online.

With Premium, Settings → App preferences → Export Data makes a CSV file or a PDF Report of the last 7 days, the last 30 days or all time — handy for a doctor’s visit. The Zuzu Privacy Policy lists everything Zuzu collects and who helps us run it.

How do I delete my account and my baby's data?

Open Settings → Family & Account, tap ⋯ at the top right and choose Delete Account, then type DELETE and tap Delete. If you’re the family’s only parent, the whole family goes with it — babies, diary and photos; if another parent is in the family, it passes to them. Cancel your subscription first: deleting the account doesn’t cancel it.

If you joined someone else’s family, that menu shows Leave Family instead; to delete your account too, email us from the address you sign in with. On Android, Delete Account is at the bottom of Family & Account. Full details are on the account deletion page.
