Stuck, found a bug or have an idea? Email contact@magiclabsolutions.com. The quickest way is Settings → Contact us in the game, which puts the game's version in the subject for us. We answer every message.
Saves and devices
Is my shelter saved?
Yes, all the time, on your device. If you're signed in to iCloud, it's also kept in your iCloud so it follows you to your other iPhone or iPad signed in to the same Apple Account.
My shelter isn't on my other device.
Check that both devices are signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud on, and that iCloud is allowed for the game in Settings. Open the game on the first device once with a connection so it can send the latest copy, then open it on the second.
The game asks which copy to keep.
When two devices played on apart, the title shows both shelters, by day, people and device, and keeps the one you choose. Nothing is overwritten without asking.
Game Center
Sign in to Game Center in your device's settings to earn achievements and appear on the leaderboards. The game plays the same without it; achievements you earn before signing in are sent when you do.
Playing
How do I unlock the other sites?
Hold a site, meet the goal shown on its card in Choose a site, and the next one opens: Dry Creek, then Saltmarsh, then Old Metro.
My people keep dying.
Watch each person's need bars in People and fix the lowest first. Every danger has a tell, such as a forecast on the radio, damp rock before water or scratching in the walls before rats, so slow the game down or pause when something's coming. Brace soft tunnels, post a guard before night and keep a medic.
Can I pause?
Yes. Pause from the top bar any time, or play at 1×, 2× and 4×.
