You can delete your Zuzu account, and the data that goes with it, in the app at any time, or by asking us by email.
In the app
- Android: open Settings → Family & Account and tap Delete Account at the bottom of the screen.
- iPhone and iPad: open Settings → Family & Account, tap the ⋯ button at the top, and choose Delete Account.
Type DELETE to confirm. Your account is deleted straight away.
By email
If you can’t use the app, email contact@magiclabsolutions.com with the subject “Delete my Zuzu account”, from the email address you use to sign in to Zuzu. We delete the account and reply to confirm when it’s done.
What is deleted
- Your account, with your email address, name and sign-in.
- If you set the family up and you are its only parent: the family and everything in it — the baby profiles, the diary and the photos. Any caregivers are removed from the family.
- If you set the family up and another parent is in it: the family and its diary pass to that parent. Your account and your own information are deleted.
- If you joined someone else’s family: your account and your own information are deleted, and the family’s diary stays with them.
What is kept, and for how long
- Our daily database backups are deleted automatically after 30 days, so deleted information can remain in them until then.
- Records of purchases are kept as long as needed for support, accounting and legal obligations.
- Usage statistics and crash reports, which don’t include your name or email address, are kept to understand and improve the app.
Deleting the app from your phone does not delete your account. A subscription is managed by Apple or Google, so cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings as well.
Deleting some data without deleting your account
In the app you can delete any entry, photo or baby profile at any time, and remove a caregiver from your family. The Zuzu Privacy Policy explains everything Zuzu collects.
